Pipe leak caused ceiling damage

A homeowner in Weston, Florida had a small pipe leak.  This leak caused damage to their family room ceiling and more damage to the area behind the adjoining wall. 

SERVPRO of Weston/West Davie was called out to asses the situation and get the area dry. We started with testing the damaged areas for moisture to ensure we began working in the right area. We removed the damaged ceiling area and the baseboards on the adjoining wall.  With the sheetrock still dry we then drilled holes at the base of the wall allowing for ventilation and drying behind the wall.  We then set our equipment to dry the area completely.
